Water Safety Wales is committed to reducing drowning deaths and keeping our communities safe around water.

Statistics from the Water Incident Database show there is an average of 45 water related fatalities in Wales every year almost double that the rate of accidental drowning in the UK.

At the start of the spring and summer holidays this meeting should be extremely useful and important to us all in playing our part in reducing water related fatalities.

Our speaker Chris Cousins, is the current Chair of Water Safety Wales and Press Officer of the National Lifeboat Institution since June 2015. He is based as St Asaph, North Wales.
