The Alan Butler Award celebrates the achievements of Safety Groups UK. Our Group has received many Alan Butler Awards since their inception in 1996.  Here is our latest  achievement in 2018.

Recipient of the SCOS Trophy: Celtic Energy Ltd.

SWWSG members John Rees, Rob Thomson , Williams Watson and Keith Jones representing Celtic Energy Ltd. were presented with the SCOS trophy for a well deserved 2nd place in the Innovation awards section.

"Despite the time, effort and attention needed over and above the more immediate and pressing demands of the ‘day job’, I have found the journey a very satisfying personal experience and confirmation that our ideas and approach are on the right track. In addition, both the local and national awards have significantly raised the profile of Health and Safety within our Company and promoted an engagement with celebrating success in this area at all levels of the business. The whole day out at the Houses of Parliament was certainly a special one for all four of us who attended and gives the Awards structure a very worthwhile inspirational element."
