Drug and Alcohol Regimes in the Transport Industry.

Our Venue is;

Cwmfelin Social Club, Courtney Street, Swansea SA5 9NR. The club has excellent facilities, free parking and is conveniently situated 100 yards from Cwmbwrla  roundabout. Our meeting will be hybrid i.e., face to face in the club with the added facility to take part virtually.

Given the scale of the Logistics and Transport industry in the UK, the risk of drug and alcohol misuse to businesses and road users can have a detrimental effect and as a result, more and more companies are implementing a Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Our speaker Paul Westwood has held several roles whilst working in the recycling industry including Logistic manager, production manager, Branch manager, operations manager and since 2014 health, safety, Environmental & Quality roles including southern region compliance advisor, . He is Company Health & Safety manager, Group SHEQ Advisor & Quality & Standards a position he has held for 4 years.
