THE SOUTH AND WEST WALES SAFETY GROUP

in  partnership with

ACS LEARNING AND CONSULTANCY LTD

will be holding the annual

ALEC BLACKBURN SEMINAR

This year’s seminar is concentrating on managing the changing risks in the three important areas of asbestos, fire and health. There will be a keynote address from Professor Roger Willey, a renowned international expert, looking at how industry and commerce has changed in the UK over the years and the resultant changes in the requirements for occupational safety and health. This will be followed by presentations on fire safety, asbestos and occupational health from knowledgeable and respected speakers, who will discuss managing risks in these key areas.

The day will give ample opportunity for questions and answers and, importantly, interaction with other delegates and exhibitors.

In each subject examples will be given of “real projects” where contractor/management control has perhaps, not been effective – leading to problems. A lesson in practical examination of principles and procedures.

The seminar runs from 9.30am until 3.30pm and the cost of attending is £85 per delegate for members of the South and West Wales Safety Group and £100 for non-members (which includes membership of the group for 2023). The stadium has plenty of free parking and lunch and refreshments are included.
