The South and West Wales Safety Group actively  supports the Safety Groups UK. Our Group has been recognised for its achievements for promoting health and safety in the South and West Wales area. The Alan Butler Award celebrates the achievements of Safety Groups UK. Our Group has received many Alan butler Awards since their inception in 1996. In 2019 we were adjudged to be the overall winner of the Alan Butler Gold Award. We were awarded a gold award in 2022 ,2023 and a silver award in 2024. 

A new award was introduced in 2024.

We are exceptionally proud that two of our members  Nefyn Cardwell-Pobl Group and Alan Prothero- T Richard Jones   received commended awards.
